Good personalized service. Enjoyed the fact that it was a private tour with our own vehicle and driver and guide. Beatiful bromo sunrise, really amazing. Never seen something like this before. Cool air up the mountain is also very welcome. Accommodation up in the mountain is not the best but just for half the night so not too bad la. Overall a very good experience!

The only drawback was just the accommodation at Bromo. But what can I say, peak period, only a handful of reasonably good accommodations that are all full. Bromo is indeed world-renowned but I loved the Ijen experience. The trekking, the view and the serenity. One of a kind. Recommended to everyone who visits Surabaya. These 2 is a must. Under-rated attractions!

Hotels chosen by Lokopoko has a great view of Bromo! Hotel seems like a motel, but we were there for bromo and the views, accommodation was secondary, water and weather was very cold. My wife has some knee problems so we opted for a pony ride to see Bromo. An eye opener, and definitely worth while. See it to believe it.

Sunrise was AMAZING!! Words just can't describe. One thing i didn't like was the jeep ride though, felt kinda scary. But it was definitely worth it! Just realized after back in Singapore that we should have caught the midnight blue flame at Ijen!! That would be spectacular. If you plan to go just once, make sure to arrange for the blue flame at Ijen.
